Here are a few things that I am crazy enough to believe God for:
1. We will be having another Prayer Initiative next month in Joliet. I am looking forward to joining others in prayer for our city and the surrounding communities.
2. Prayer is not the only thing that needs to be done. I am also believing that God will give wisdom to us as we look to give solutions to the needs of our city.
3. I am believing that people will join together and SERVE in our city.
taking the city!

Our first Prayer Initiative this past Saturday was amazing!
We had a total of 8 people to show up to pray at 7:30 in the morning.
I was a little concerned about the weather but it turned out to be a beautiful morning.
It was awesome because we did not come together just so we could check off our good deed of the day.
We also weren’t praying for God to come down and fix everything while we sit back and watch.
We prayed for God to protect and for God to give us wisdom to ACT.
What our city needs is not another bunch of Christians looking down their nose at those people.
Our city needs us to ACT like Christ!
We will be gathering again next month on the Hill (if you are from Joliet, you know where this is).
I am praying for even more sold-out believers who aren’t ashamed of the Gospel.
We will pray against the summer time violence that has already started.
We will pray for the protection of our children and loved ones.
We will pray for answers to solve problems.
I’m taking my city for Christ.

Here are a few things that I am believing God for:
1. I am leading a Prayer Initiative in Joliet tomorrow morning. I am looking forward to people joining me in prayer and finding some answers for the communities concerns.
2. I am trying to ramp up my writing. It’s been real tough lately but I am pressing my way.
3. I am believing for a wave of Gods favor concerning my employment and ministry opportunities. God is my provider.
love is….
There is an incredible passage of scripture that amazes me every time I read it.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
We all know that God is love but in this verse He lets us know that best way to BE love is to SHOW love.
And one of the best ways to show it is to someone who doesn’t deserve it.
All of us have messed up. Most of us, more than once ![]()
Some of us have even doubted God or even cursed Him to His face.
Lots of us, knowing the right way to go, decided to go the other direction.
Bottom line, all of us were sinners.
And God still loved us enough to send His son to die in our place so that we could forever be with Him.
Amazing.
As we get ready for our 1st Prayer Initiative in Joliet this Saturday, we must prepare our hearts to love like God loves.
No matter who they are. No matter what they have done.
When Gods love is involved it doesn’t matter.
Freely we have been given and freely we give out.
Come on! Let’s change our city for the Kingdom!!

Here are a few things that I am crazy enough to believe God for:
1. I am still working on my first book. I plan on having it completed by the beginning of summer. I am excited about what it will do to improve marriages.
2. Speaking of marriages, I am planning on doing my first marriage even this fall. I really want to encourage husbands and wives to have successful marriages.
3. God has placed so much stuff on my heart that sometimes it feels overwhelming. Pray that I remain focused and strong.
4. Lastly, I am leading a prayer initiative in Joliet next Saturday. I really feel a need to step up my actions in my community.

Here are a few things that I am crazy enough to believe God for:
1. Doing a prayer event in a couple of weeks. Joliet has been hit with an early rash of summertime violence. We are going to pray for God to protect our children, families, and neighborhoods.
2. I am expecting this prayer event will spark a spirit of service in our city. People don’t just want to hear the Gospel, they want to SEE it in action also.
3. I got a little side-tracked with my writing. I am looking forward to new energy on all of my writing projects.
