Although it’s not really “new”, the concept of reaching the lost is unchartered territory for most Christians.
Sharing the good news of Christ is not on the “to-do list” of the majority of people that I know.
We go along, in our daily activities, sometimes forgetting to read a few scriptures or even pray.
Telling someone about the love of God gets pushed back even further.

What we fail to understand is that, in the midst of our memory lapses, we are actually in disobedience to the great commission.

The plan of God from the beginning was to redeem mankind. Jesus himself, is the “Savior of the world” (John 4:42).
God wants all men to be saved and come into knowledge of the truth.

Jesus selected us to join Him in gathering the lost and sharing the life-changing message of Gods love.
This is what we should be doing instead of, Sunday after Sunday, week after week, coming into a building, and patting ourselves on the back.
We need to make a concentrated effort to empty the lines to hell.

This weight won’t get any lighter unless we do some lifting.
